Tandheelkundig Centrum Amsterdam Noord offers various specialties under one roof. With the latest techniques and insights in aesthetic dentistry, a perfect cosmetic result is within reach for everyone. Color, shape, damage, or misalignment of teeth: sooner than you think, these can become a thing of the past.

For missing teeth and prosthetic treatments, you can consult the implantologist and the dental prosthetist. We work closely with the dental prosthetic practice de Wit, which is also located in our building. We have a microscope, allowing us to work with great precision, resulting in a successful treatment outcome.

We have a dentist specialized in orthodontics, so in most cases, you no longer need to be referred to an orthodontist. There is also a dentist with special expertise in treating children and anxious patients. Our dental hygienists provide extensive aftercare and prevention of gum problems.

Marc Smeets

Implantologist, NVOI Registered

After completing his studies in General Dentistry at ACTA, Marc Smeets worked for several years as a dentist with the Royal Netherlands Navy. He then specialized in implantology and worked as a dental implantologist for more than 10 years at the Periodontology and Implantology practice in Amstelveen and at the Dental Center Amsterdam North. He works on Mondays and Tuesdays at the Amsterdam practice and on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the referral practice in Purmerend (Dental Referral Practice Waterland).

Marc Smeets primarily focuses on complex implantology, i.e., anterior tooth replacements and extensive implant-supported constructions, where functionality and aesthetics are paramount. He collaborates with prosthodontists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, aesthetic dentists, and general dentists. Marc Smeets is registered as an implantologist with the NVOI.

Rixt van Noort

Reconstructive, Aesthetic, and General Dentistry

Rixt van Noort completed her dental studies in Groningen in 2003. After working for several years as a general dentist, she began to specialize in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry.

Treatments she regularly performs include composite or porcelain veneers, treating teeth with severe wear, and restoring the dentition after accidents, for example. Where necessary, she collaborates with other specialists such as orthodontists, implantologists, dental technicians, and dental hygienists to achieve the best aesthetic and functional results.

Rixt regularly attends continuing education courses in the Netherlands and internationally to stay up to date with the latest developments in dentistry. In addition, she works as an instructor and regularly teaches courses and training programs.

Justine Heukensfeldt-Jansen

General Dentistry

Justine completed her dental studies at the University of Groningen in 2010. She then moved to Amsterdam and gained experience as a general practitioner in several group practices.

From 2011 to 2017, in addition to general dentistry, she focused on minor surgery at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Kennemer Gasthuis in Haarlem. Alongside surgery, she is also interested in restorative/reconstructive dentistry and has attended several courses on this topic since 2016.

Currently, Justine works three days a week at the Dental Center Amsterdam North. She is registered in the Quality Register for Dentists (KRT).

Lotte van den Brink

Dentist

Lotte van den Brink graduated from ACTA in 2003. Since graduating, she has been working as a dentist, and since 2003 she has worked on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at the Dental Center Amsterdam North. In addition, Lotte also works at a dental practice in Heemstede.

Within the practice, Lotte focuses on general dentistry. She continues to develop her knowledge and skills by regularly attending continuing education courses, ensuring she can provide her patients with the best possible care.

Marija Dordevic-Mohnkern

Dentist with a focus on Orthodontics

Marija, originally from Serbia, has been living and working as a dentist in the Netherlands since 2007. In 2012, she completed her diploma recognition procedure at ACTA, and since then she has been registered in the BIG register. She gained extensive experience as a general dentist in practices in Weesp and Amsterdam.

Since 2021, Marija has been working at the Dental Center Amsterdam North as both a general dentist and an orthodontic dentist. For orthodontics, she completed a specialized program at the University of Aarhus in Denmark.

Marija has taken various courses in reconstructive and aesthetic dentistry, areas in which she has a special interest. As an orthodontic dentist, she treats both children and adults, including treatments with invisible braces.

Marija is known as a calm and patient dentist and enjoys working with patients with special needs. She is also registered in the Quality Register for Dentists (KRT).

Loulou Bouwman

Dentist

Loulou Bouwman graduated in 2017 as a dentist from the University of Groningen. During the last six months of her studies, she gained practical experience in a dental practice in Curaçao. After graduating, she moved to Amsterdam.

Loulou works on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Dental Center Amsterdam North. In addition, she works at a dental practice in Haarlem.

Within the practice, Loulou mainly focuses on general dentistry. She regularly attends continuing education courses to further develop her knowledge and skills. Loulou is registered in the Quality Register for Dentists (KRT).

Alexandra Kellner

Dentist

Alexandra Kellner graduated as a dentist from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. After graduating, she worked in Sweden and later in southern France, where she gained experience in prosthetics and preventive dentistry. In 2023, she moved to the Netherlands.

Alexandra works part-time at the Dental Center Amsterdam North.

Within the practice, Alexandra mainly focuses on general dentistry and orthodontics with aligners. She regularly attends continuing education courses to further develop her knowledge and skills. Alexandra is registered in the Quality Register for Dentists (KRT).
